BG’S Annual juried Exhibition is back with Cut Paste Create! Derived from the French verb coller, meaning to glue/stick, collage refers to both the method and art form in which paper and other media are arranged and affixed to a surface.  The technique has evolved into a popular and powerful medium that transcends traditional artistic boundaries. versatile and accessible, collage allows for a creative amalgamation of 2 and 3d materials, creating a fascinating visual interplay of textures, colors and forms that explore juxtaposition of seemingly disparate elements. From analog cut-and-paste to digital layering, this exhibition celebrates the deft use of materials and the creative spirit of collage.
